Q1.
Can the DVD player be hooked up to the VCR?
No, it cannot be. The copyright encoding on the DVD disrupts the video signal being filtered through the VCR. This can cause the picture to either become disrupted, or to change from color to black and white.
Q2.
Can I hook up both the SVHS and the yellow cable?
Many TV sets have both types of video input jacks to support multiple devices. Only one of the two cables should be hooked from the DVD player to the television set. The S-VHS cable is the preferred cable if the TV supports the input, as there is better resolution with this cable. It is not possible to hook both of them up at the same time from the same device.
Q3.
Is it possible to change viewing angles on a par?
This is possible ONLY if the disc has been formatted this way. Not every movie has multi-angle options available.
Q4.
I have forgotten my password. What can I do to reset my password?
Use your remote to access the function menu, choose Password and then key in 210499. This will clear the password.
Q5.
My older TV does not have audio/video input jacks.
Radio Shack and other electronics supply firms sell an item known as an R/F modulator. It converts audio/video signal to a standard 75-ohm cable hook-up. This device will allow you to hook up your DVD player.
